Session length is based on your child’s individual goals and plan of care. Most sessions are scheduled for 30-60 minutes, 1–2 times per week, depending on your child’s needs and your family’s schedule. When appropriate, sessions also include parent education and coaching to help you support progress at home and encourage carryover between visits.

Sessions can take place at home, in a community space or virtually through teletherapy.

Yes. An initial evaluation is required unless your child has already been assessed by a Speech-Language Pathologist within the last six months.

We accept Cash, Checks, All Major Credit Cards, and Health Savings Accounts. We are an approved provider for Step Up scholarship program.

Please keep in mind that providing a superbill does not guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you. Before starting services, it’s important for the caregiver to call their insurance provider to understand what your plan covers and to confirm whether any pre-authorization is required. Use the information below to help guide your conversation with your insurance company.

When you call your insurance company, you can ask:

• Do we have out-of-network benefits (can we get reimbursed if we see a provider who isn’t in-network)?

• If yes, does the plan cover speech therapy for habilitation? (You can mention these billing codes: 92507 and 92523.)

• Do we need pre-authorization before starting? If yes, who needs to request it (you, the doctor, or the therapist)? If they need to send the authorization to us, they email us: info@waytogrowtherapyllc.com

• Are there any diagnoses that are covered or not covered? (Examples: language delay, autism, stuttering, etc.)

• Is there a limit on the number of visits per year?

• What are our out-of-network costs: deductible and coinsurance (or the percentage the plan pays)?

Way to Grow Therapy provides in-home or community speech therapy across St. Johns County, Jacksonville, and St. Augustine. We proudly serve nearby communities such as SilverLeaf, Durbin Crossing, Nocatee, Julington Creek, Bartram Park, and the Southside area — all within a 15–20 minute drive.

Payment is collected at the time of your child’s session. For virtual visits, Way to Grow Therapy keeps a credit card on file using a secure authorization form and charges it after each session. Your information is kept private and only used for therapy services. A monthly superbill can be provided if you’d like to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
